Beef casserole

Here’s a hearty recipe for beef casserole that’s perfect for a comforting meal:

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef or diced beef (stew meat)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups cooked pasta or rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or stew meat over medium heat. Drain excess fat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
